Description
Daytime respite support is designed for carers who need a break during working hours, for errands, or simply to rest while knowing the person they care for is in a supported setting. This service does not include overnight accommodation. Instead, the guest attends during the day ?? typically from morning until late afternoon ?? and takes part in whatever level of activity or quiet time suits them. Meals and refreshments are provided during the day.
A daytime stay can include:
- Company and conversation in a shared lounge or garden area
- Support with eating and drinking at mealtimes
- Accessible toilet and washing facilities
- Light recreational options such as puzzles, music, or reading
The amount shown is a deposit for a scheduled day of respite. The final fee is based on the hours required, the number of days per week, and the support intensity.
