Weekend respite care is arranged for those moments when a family carer needs a planned pause, and the person they support requires a safe, welcoming place to stay from Friday through Sunday. The stay includes accommodation in a furnished room, meals prepared on site, and support from staff who are present throughout the weekend. We do not position this as a medical service; rather, it is a practical arrangement that allows the usual care routine to continue in a different setting for a short period.
The weekend stay can include:
- Assistance with personal routines such as washing, dressing, and medication reminders
- Social time and light activities in shared or private spaces
- Three meals a day plus drinks and snacks
- A quiet room with access to a call point if needed
The amount shown is a deposit to secure a weekend respite place for a specific date. The full fee depends on the level of support needed and the room type available. Please complete our enquiry form with the preferred weekend, any mobility or dietary notes, and a short description of the support usually provided at home, so we can confirm suitability and a fixed price.
